Snow Scooter Day Trips in Iceland

Arctic Adventures offers snow scooter adventures (snow mobile) on three of the most amazing glaciers in Iceland. Each of these glaciers are different and all of them are inspiring places to visit.

!! NEW !! For the first time ever we will offer a full day winter snow mobile expedition. These are awesome trips where each trip will be custom made taking into account snow and weather conditions. Imagine racing across wide open snow fields in the Icelandic Highlands, gunning for the Langjökull glacier... guaranteed to be one hell of a trip!

Our most popular trip is the Golden Circle Glacier Ride trip that includes a super-jeep excursion visiting all the must see sights of the area: The Geysir hot springs, the Gullfoss waterfalls and Þingvellir national park, before going for an exhilarating snow mobile adventur on the Langjökull Glaicer. This great day tour is operated all year round with a minimum of 2 passengers.

The Glacier Ride EXPRESS snowmobile day tour is operated from Reykjavík every day during summer. This is a great value glacier tour and unlike all our other glacier tours it starts from the city at 12:00. You can also drive your rental car and meet on the Gullfoss parking lot at 9:30 or 14:30, where we will pick you up and take you to the Langjökull glacier for a one hour snow scooter trip.

Iceland Elements is one of our most action packed adventure combination day tours as it includes both a river rafting trip and snowmobile trip. This popular adventure offers you the unique possibility of following the Hvítá River all the way from its source at the Langjökull glacier in the south central highlands to the shores of North Atlantic Ocean on Iceland’s south coast.

In winter we also offer an extended snowmobile tour with out the sight seeing on the Golden Circle and we go directly from Reykjavik all year round with a minimum of 4 passengers. This tour is named Glacier Cruiser and will take you for a two hour blaze across the Langjökull glacier in the Icelandic Highlands.

For those that have already visited the Golden Circle and would like to go exploring the beautiful South Shore of Iceland we have an cool snow scooter trip on the Mýrdalsjökull glacier.
